Developed from the ground up by Brainworx the bx_delay 2500 is an innovative delay plug-in with a clear ergonomic interface that simply begs to be programmed. Quickly get to the delay effects you want and then create unexpected results using the extensive effects processing section. The bx_delay 2500 features chorus, delay, ducking and transient shaper allowing you to twist the delayed signal in ways that are usually only possible when using multiple plugins. There are also additional touches such as a handy delay offset, M/S processing and independent tap tempo controls for each delay line.

The bx_subsynth is the Holy Grail for bass fanatics. Integrating a mix of classic and modern processing, this 10-ton beast gives music tracks, cinematic special FX and DJs’ sound systems a bottom end that goes all the way to the Earth’s core! In developing bx_subsynth, Brainworx initially made a meticulous model of the legendary dbx 120XP Subharmonic Synthesizer’s Waveform Modeling engine, which generates discrete bass frequencies one octave below what you feed in to it. They then supersized the 120XP’s feature set to create much tighter, clearer, bigger and resonant bass.

Stripped down to only 2 parameters and an intuitive graphic design, bx_boom allows you to tune, attenuate or boost the impact of your kick drum sound at any point during the audio production workflow—even after the final mix or within a full drum loop. The bx_boom plugin contains both a mono version perfect for inserting onto a kick drum track, and a stereo version for inserting onto a drum submix buss or full stereo mix of your song.

During his long-lived days as a producer and engineer, working with the likes of Dream Theater, Toto and Michael Jackson, he found that some of the most critical parts of a mix lay within the sub-sonics and super-sonics of a sound. That is, by simply filtering out the imperceptible spectra above and below the desired core character of a sound, one could be well on their way to an immaculate sounding mix—even before the addition of any further dynamics or frequency treatment.
